Under New Ownership

We are happy to announce that La Fe Hotel and Arts is officially under new ownership!

We have received much feedback from our guests through in person conversation, reviews and emails, and we have been listening! Over the next several months, our guests will begin to notice changes taking place throughout the hotel. In fact, some of those changes have already begun! For example, beautification efforts to the exterior of the property are under way. New planters have been added along the ledge of the “north” wall. Our parking area will also receive repair work that will see damaged bricks replaced and the streetscape will be upgraded to include new vegetation.

Improvements to the common areas of the property have also begun. Historic photos of Guadalajara have been hung in the stairwell, new plants have been added and the plants in our courtyard have been dressed up with ambient lights.

A minibar has also been added for the convenience of our guests in the lobby. There you will find a variety of beverages and snacks to choose from. Over the next month, we also plan on adding a small shop that will sell only local goods made by crafts people from Guadalajara and the state of Jalisco.

Our rooms will also be receiving upgrades in the very near future. More shelving is being added to the washrooms, plants will be added the the rooms, and soon art will be installed.

We are also in the process of planning larger upgrades to many of our rooms. For example, our suite, Orozco (named after the famous Mexican painter – José Clemente Orozco) is in the process of being renovated. The sofa bed in the small bedroom has already been replaced with a queen size bed, headboard, and side tables. The entire suite will receive new paint, curtains, and decor, many of which will come from the influence of Orozco himself. Watch for some of our bathrooms to be renovated as well!

We are also planning some larger projects, but you will have to watch our Facebook page and website for more information on those down the road.

In closing, we would like to thank all of our guests over the past several months for your business and allowing La Fe Hotel and Arts to be your home away from home! We very much look forward to welcoming you back in the new year!

We would love for you to follow us on and .
